From Hyderabad to Barcelona

I'm not a travel blogger who visits countries for content. I'm someone who chose to build a life in Europe — with all its challenges, bureaucracy, and beautiful surprises.

The Beginning

In 2019, I left a comfortable corporate job in Hyderabad to pursue a master's degree in Barcelona. My family thought I was crazy. My friends were worried. I was terrified but excited. The first month was overwhelming — from finding apartments to understanding Spanish bureaucracy, everything felt like climbing Mount Everest.

But I fell in love. Not with a person, but with a city, a lifestyle, a way of being. Barcelona became home in ways I never expected.

The Journey

Once I settled in Barcelona, I started exploring. Every long weekend became an adventure. France, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Hungary, Poland — I traveled solo, with friends, on tight budgets, and sometimes splurging. I made every mistake in the book so you don't have to.

Friends and family started reaching out: "We're planning Europe, can you help?" I'd spend hours crafting detailed itineraries, sharing vegetarian restaurant lists, explaining visa processes, and being their Google Maps during trips. That's when I realized — this is what I love doing.

Why I Started Sancharii

"Sancharii" means "traveler" in Sanskrit. It represents the spirit of exploration, curiosity, and courage. Starting Sancharii wasn't about building a business — it was about sharing what I've learned with fellow Indian travelers who dream of Europe but feel overwhelmed by the planning.
